Becoming Dellhiites

デリーっ子のことをデリーアイッツ（delhiites）って言うそうです。

インド英語ですね。

ニューヨーカー的な、江戸っ子的な言い方みたいです。

さて、この４月からインド移住四年目に入りました。

早いものですね、わたしのような人は、稀なタイプで驚かれますが、

この土地で、生活することがかなりしっくり来てしまっている次第です。笑

そして、４月１５日に南デリーの素敵な住宅街ディフェンスコロニーに引越しました。

デリーの中でも古くからある閑静な住宅街で、お家はかなり古いのですが、

改装して、隠れ家ヨーガスペースも作りました。

（まだまだ準備中！）

落ち着いたらぜひみなさんにも来ていただきたいです！

さて、


引越の日はたまたまナヴァラトリの９日目の最後の日でもあり、

ラム・ナヴァミというラーマがシータと結婚した日という吉兆の良い日でした。

ラーマはインド国の王子さまで、シータはスリランカのお姫さま。

神話にも国際結婚があったんですね～なんて思いつつ、   

これからわたしもこの地でパートナーとの新たな生活始めています。

In this April, it turns to be the 4th year of Indian life!
Cheers ! I am proud of myself being here :)

A person like me is maybe a rare type you may say, but the more I stay here, the more comfortable I become, 

and now I feel so right to be here for whatever the reasons can be given.

Now I moved to very nice residential area in South Delhi, Defence Colony on the 15^th of April.

It is one of the historical residential areas of Delhi and the house itself is old, but we renovated and created a yoga space – urban hideout sanctuary - as well.

Once settled, we would like to invite our friends!

By the way the day I moved in happened to be an auspicious day that is ninth day of Navaratri and also Ram Navami, the day Rama and Sita was married.

Rama was a prince of India, and Sita was a princess of Sriranka.

I mused on international marriage in gods stories…, I am also starting a new life here with my partner.
